An Afternoon At La Cumbre

These photos are the result of me needing to finish up a roll of film from my recent trip to Southeast Asia. Those photos will be up soon but in the mean time I'll pop these up. They were shot on my old Pentax K1000 with a 28mm f2.8.

Update Time

Time for another update! The first four images are portraits as of recent and the second four are part of what I and two other photographers shot for a friends brand new hookah bar.

Hong Kong

At the end of January I went to Hong Kong for ten days to visit two friends that live out there and to explore. After great debate over which cameras to take I decided to shoot film. I shot my Rolleiflex T, Pentax K1000 with a 50mm f2.0 and a Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic with a 28mm f2.8. These are my favorite images.

Mining Minerals

This series of photos started as a concept from a good friend of mine that needed photos for a project in her advertising class. Her project was do do a faux advertising campaign for her chosen company. She picked Bare Minerals makeup and wanted to have the models "mining the makeup." For the shoot we went to the mountains east of Albuquerque and shot on a hillside, I later changed the color of the rocks in post to mimic the color of the models eye liner. This shoot couldn't have been possible with out Kata Baron and Britney-Rae Sanchez doing the make up. Maxwell Duryea was also immense in this shoot helping with everything from schlepping gear to helping compose and shooting photos of his own.

Frontier Project

This is a collection of images that I shot over two mornings at The Frontier. It was a project that I had wanted to shoot for a while and I finally got around to it with the help of my friend Jordan.
